I created and founded Heathen Beard Company because I am a Bearded man who could not find the scents and beard products that held up to my lifestyle. I work 14 to 18 hours a day for 14 days at a time in the oil field then work 20 hour days at Hays Manor taking care of our Highland Coo's, Hawks, Horses, then brewing Mead at Vinland Meads. I, Like you, need a beard products that represent that life style, that work etiquette that sets us apart.
It is our aim to provide high quality beard care to beardsmen around the world. I wanted to build a unique brand that would attract customers that valued high quality products, a unique brand to match your lifestyle and work ethic combined with great customer service.
Who We Are
Heathen Beard Company is not just a single individual, its a family, a clan, the Hays Clan living in Murchison, Texas at Hays Manor. Clyde and Sarah Hays are the parents to 7 sons, and of Scottish Descent. Practicing Falconers you will see Red Tailed Hawks take flight through our Hawk Trails, Highland Coo's all shaggy and imposing, as well as, Bee's in our Bee Apiary, Horses, Quail, Chickens, and Goats. Vinland Meads is the family's Meadery where they produce ancestral mead, or honey wine, and it is currently in incubator status on the grounds.

Handcrafted Scents
Heathen Beard Company oils and balms are hand crafted in small batches under the care of a 20 year expert in the industry using proprietary formulas. This is not a youtube video scent from a couple of essential oils poured into a bottle. Each scent is crafted under his care and guidance. We then take the scents and put them in the field and pick them apart. I have conducted trial runs with some of the hardest working Bearded Men I could find and took their feedback in what we offer.
Our Inspiration is our Roots and Traditions
An old Scots pine reveals a resplendent branch structure in a mixed native wood in Glen Strathfarrar, Highlands. While Scots pine is often associated with the tales of Caledon, many native species made up the once much more extensive tree cover of the Highlands.
